The King of Mars

This new comedic one-act play follows the first expedition of the United States Space Force in their journey to Mars, and the unusual comedian that has been chosen to accompany the mission. This satirical critique of the dark history of the US government and exploration into the effects of nationalism, encourages audiences to reflect on the nature of what unites and divides us.

With the generous support of Broadway Licensing’s annual New Works Grant, West Virginia University senior theatre major Ava Mills will be making her WVPT debut with this incredible new show!
